Hey,
I’m Cam
If storytelling is important to you, you've come to the right place. It's not just about selling products—it's about shaping culture and influencing what people say about you when you're not in the room.
My story is a blend of entrepreneurship, video production, marketing and a commitment to staying on the cutting edge of technology.
early years
A Life Shaped by Stories
I grew up in a care home run by my parents, surrounded by 21 grandparents who shaped my empathy and love for human connection. At six, I picked up my dad’s camera and filmed my first story—a David Copperfield remake with my sister—igniting my passion for storytelling.
My teens were a mix of discipline and creativity. I rose to the highest rank in the Army Cadets, toured with a youth dance company leading workshops in schools and prisons, and learned event production from my dad on Alderney. At university, I studied Event Management, joined the Officer Training Corps, and launched my first business—a Manchester bar crawl.
Though I considered a military career, storytelling won. I pivoted to TV & Film Post-Production, started a video production company, and never looked back.
In film school, I made a Harry Potter fan film and hid 100 golden snitches—ping-pong balls with wings—across the UK to build buzz. The stunt landed me coverage on Good Morning America, BBC, The Guardian, and The Hollywood Reporter, launching my marketing career.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE
Building Brands & Communities
My first agency role came as social media video took off, producing content for brands with agencies like McCann and Social Chain. This led to high-net-worth clients and business leaders seeking video storytelling for personal branding.
Working with Ethereum’s co-founder, I dived into blockchain, growing Ethereum London Meetups to 16,000 members. I saw how video helped startups attract investment and build communities.
As streaming overtook traditional studios, I recognized filmmakers needed marketing early. This led to projects on indie films and The Last Kingdom for Netflix, leveraging social media for audience growth.
In California, I helped a MedTech startup raise $6M by turning their investment deck into a documentary featuring the founders.
Passionate about impact, I worked with UK politicians, crafting authentic storytelling campaigns that continue to shape their leadership today.
THE PANDEMIC
Turning Loss Into Impact
During the pandemic, I launched remote video podcasts for startups and private clubs, helping them stay connected.
But as lockdowns took a toll on mental health, I tragically lost three friends, including my ex-partner Sarah. Determined to make a difference, I created Sunrise, a mental health film about a scam artist who unknowingly saves a suicidal victim.
Now in post-production with Warner Bros., Sunrise will be screened in businesses to spark conversations and share practical mental health insights.
THE FUTURE
Embracing Innovation
In a world evolving faster than ever, I stay ahead by leveraging technology to enhance storytelling, streamline workflows, and scale businesses. From web development and content creation to blockchain and AI, the past decade has unlocked incredible opportunities, and I’m excited to be at the forefront.
Adopting new tools isn’t just about better content—it’s about future-proofing businesses. By embracing emerging technologies and best practices, I help organisations stay connected, relevant, and ready for what’s next.
Sharing this knowledge has become a passion. From university lectures to workshops for the Alderney Chamber of Commerce, I’ve helped businesses master digital storytelling—transforming ideas into impact.
