About the Project

On 23 April 2025, I delivered an AI for Beginners Workshop for the Alderney Chamber of Commerce at the Georgian House Orangery. Thirty people from local businesses and the States attended to learn how AI tools can support marketing, admin, and customer engagement. I explained the basics of AI, showed how it is already part of everyday life, and addressed common concerns about its use.

The session included live demonstrations of tools like ElevenLabs for voiceovers, Suno AI for music, Photoshop AI for editing, and ChatGPT for marketing and business planning. I also gave advice on prompt writing and how to start using AI safely and effectively. The focus was on real, practical examples tailored to Alderney.

Feedback was very positive, with many describing it as an eye-opener. A full recording is available on YouTube, and I am offering follow-up one-to-one sessions for anyone who would like more support.
