CASE STUDY

Music Ally

Based on a canal boat in North London, Music Ally wanted to attract new talent. We spent a day documenting their culture, showcasing their unique workspace and team spirit.

About the Project

Music Ally, a leading source of news and insights for the music industry, wanted to attract top talent by showcasing the company’s culture and daily operations. The goal was to create an authentic “day in the life” video featuring one of their employees to give prospective hires a real sense of what it’s like to work there.

I spent a full day at Music Ally’s offices, capturing candid moments with the team and conducting interviews with employees across different departments. To ensure a natural flow and provide context, I worked closely with Patrick, their Head of Marketing, who helped fill in the gaps between interviews. This approach allowed for a seamless blend of real experiences and structured storytelling.

The final video delivered an engaging and authentic look at Music Ally’s work environment, company culture, and team dynamics. It was successfully used in recruitment efforts, helping to attract new professionals to join the company.
